Salisbury, MD-Carol J. Grimaldi, 52, of Salisbury, MD, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, NY. Born December 23, 1957 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of Kim Grimaldi of Granville, NY and the late John Grimaldi. Carol graduated from Mars High School in Mars, PA and attended Butler Community College and received her Bachelor's degree from Penn State University. She was a Civil Engineer for the past 10 years with the USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service in Salisbury, MD. Before working in Salisbury, she also worked in the same capacity in California and New Jersey. Carol was a member of Saint Francis de Sales Church in Salisbury and the Elk's Lodge #817 of Salisbury, MD. She loved horses especially horseback riding, her dogs and enjoyed playing soccer. Carol also loved to travel and traveled extensively throughout the world. Carol moved to Granville, NY in December 2009 to be closer to her mother and sister.
In addition to her mother, Carol in survived by her daughter whom she loved and cherished, Kali Bourn Grimaldi of Salisbury, MD; her sisters, Donna Stewart and her husband Jim of Weatherford, TX, Mary Ann Burke and her husband Jim of Washington, West Virginia, Jackie Charlton and her husband Gil Powell of Granville, NY, Patty Grimaldi of Bradenton, FL and Gail Schweiger and her husband Scott of Ellwood City, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great friends.
In addition to her father, Carol was also predeceased by a brother, Wayne Grimaldi.

A mass will be said in Carol's name on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 11:00 am at Saint Francis de Sales Church in Salisbury.
